Today (November 8) is Election Day in the United States, and after what felt like an eternal election cycle, voters are finally casting their choice for the 45th President of the United States. Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump, is one of those voters. Unsurprisingly, he voted for his father. More surprising is the fact that Eric Trump had the poor sense to photograph and tweet his voter ballot.

"It is an incredible honor to vote for my father! He will do such a great job for the U.S.A.! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain," Eric wrote in a tweet that's since been deleted — likely because someone informed him that voting booth photos are illegal in New York state. Of course, the internet's full of able-fingered screen cappers, so Trump's voting booth photo is preserved for eternity.

While voting booth photography laws vary from state to state, there's a ban on them in Eric Trump's home state of New York — and while it can carry a misdemeanor penalty of a fine or up to a year in prison, according to USA Today that law has rarely been enforced.

Clearly, in Eric Trump's busy time on the campaign trail he hasn't kept up with Justin Timberlake's legal flap over a voting selfie.
