Mary Poppins is a classic of Disney cinema featuring Julie Andrews as the title character and Dick Van Dyke. The film was an instant classic, winning awards and still being one of the most iconic films of all time.  Plus, they even made a film about the production of the film between Walt Disney and the author of the book P.L. Travers in Saving Mr. Banks (honestly of my favorite films of all time).

Now Disney is going to make a sequel that takes place 20 years after the first Mary Poppins and is courting Emily Blunt for the title role. The interesting part is there are eight books about Mary Poppins, so there is a lot to discover, but I don't know if it will have the same magic as the original. If you would like more info about the film, check out the article from Collider. Here is the trailer for the 50th anniversary of the film.
