Early Wednesday morning around 6:25 a.m., a 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Manhattan, Montana, by the USGS (United States Geophysical Society). The depth of the quake was slightly over 3.1 miles and it was about 2.5 miles west of Manhattan.  See the location of the earthquake (noted by the blue dot) in the map below.
