Cheers! Southwest Airlines To Bring Back Alcohol On Flights
This move will only make their flights even more attractive this coming spring and summer when folks are looking to travel out of Bozeman.
USA Today is reporting that Southwest Airlines will be bringing back in-flight alcohol sales starting Wednesday, February 16th. Southwest Airlines has halted alcohol sales on flights due to COVID-19 concerns, and many were not too happy about this decision.
Southwest Airlines has become one of the popular flights out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport since they started offering debuted in 2021. Southwest Airlines is known for low fares, free checked bags, and enticing destinations to travel to. Adding alcohol back to their flights will help only their business grow out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
The only airline that isn't serving alcohol on their flights is American Airlines. They have two long flights out of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport to Dallas/Fort Worth and Charlotte.
I am all for Southwest Airlines bringing back alcohol on their flights for the foreseeable future. One of Southwest Airlines' most popular flights out of Bozeman is to Las Vegas, and lots of folks go to Vegas with a crew and like to pregame and have a party on the plane. This move will only entice more folks to possibly choose Southwest's flight over Allegiant Airline's flight to Las Vegas.
Either way, it's a win for the travelers who fly Southwest, and I can't wait to fly them in May when I go down to Colorado.
