Bozeman Police Investigating Sexual Assault

UPDATE: Bozeman Police announced on Friday afternoon that the suspect has been identified. 

On Tuesday morning, June 9th, Bozeman police were called to 600 W. Lamme St. to investigate an alleged sexual assault. The victim told police that a male acquaintance had physically and sexually assaulted her just after midnight before fleeing the area on foot.

Police issued a description of the suspect on Thursday. They are looking for a male, 25-35 year old Caucasian, 5' 7" tall, with short hair and a red-colored beard. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, tan pants, and a colorful hat. A photo of the suspect is below.

The Bozeman Police Department says they believe this was an isolated incident, as they have not received any similar reports of this nature.
