Along with some friends this past Sunday, my family and I ventured into Yellowstone National Park. We had two goals in mind.

1) To find a grizzly bear that was reportedly hanging out with a fresh elk kill on the Yellowstone River in the Hayden Valley.

2) To find some evidence that the trees are changing color and fall is starting to take over Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone is one of the most beautiful places on earth in the fall, and seeing a grizzly in the wild is one of the most exciting scenes to witness in life. I am happy to report we managed to realize both of our goals. It was an epic fall day for us in Yellowstone.

We left before the sun was up in Bozeman, and as you'll see in the pictures below we encountered snow and sunshine on our trip into the park. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did taking them.

Thank you to Dustin Matosich & Candice Wooten for your terrific photos.
