Bacchus Pub Closed Unexpectedly

This is unbelievable. I loved this pub.

I walked over to the Bacchus Pub to see what they were doing for St. Patrick's Day, and I was stunned to see signs that say that the Bacchus is temporarily closed. These signs were all over the windows and no one was in sight inside the Bacchus. This was the place to go to for St. Patrick's Day.

According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, the owner of the Baxter Hotel who owns the liquor license for the Bacchus served the eviction notice to the Bacchus for repeated issues over complying with the state liquor laws.

This is huge. Bacchus is one of the most popular places in town to go have food and drinks after work.

Ever since I moved here, I have been a frequent guest at the Bacchus, whether it be getting a drink before a concert or playing trivia on Mondays.

This is especially heartbreaking due to it being St. Patrick's Day today. The Bacchus Facebook page has nothing but posts about their specials they were going to do this weekend.

I hope this can be resolved quickly and they can reopen the Bacchus, because this would be a crushing blow to many Bozemanites.
