Greetings from The MOOSE Morning Show! (It's hard to believe I've been around this joint for 26 years.) I'm always honored that you've spent part of your day with 94.7 The MOOSE. We try really hard every day to capture the best of the Gallatin Valley and for me, that means waking up at 4:30 am and heading downtown to our studios. After living in the Valley for 30 years, Bozeman never gets dull. Sure, it's a lot bigger than when I was in college at Montana State but it's never been 'dull'. If you ever come across something you think I should know about, don't hesitate to reach out. Could be a new band I need to hear or a new restaurant you think I should try. I'd love to hear about it. You can always call the studio at (406) 587-0951 during the MOOSE Morning Show from 6am to 10am. If you'd like to reach out via email, no problem. Just send an email HERE. I really do check my email and will address any issues you might have. Suggestions, questions and comments are always welcome. Really. -Michelle
Bozeman Area Events: Holy Cow With the Fall Things To Do
Just when I think we'll get a breather, an even BIGGER load of great events shows up in the Bozeman area. Mid-October seems to be jam-packed with cool stuff to do.
Montana Rental Car Prices: We’re Back to Normal! (Even Bozeman)
Dare I say, some are even a bargain? After a solid 18 months of RIDICULOUSLY high rental car rates, prices seem to have come way back down to earth...for now. But who knows what ski season may bring.
What Montana Can Learn From Recent Power Outages
We sort of knew it was coming, right? We knew heavy, wet snow was on the way and most of our trees have not yet lost their leaves. That's a dangerous combination in Montana.
Montana Grocery Stores: Bare Shelves, Super Low Staffing
NOTE: I hate the grocery store. But I LOVE the people that work there and bust their tail everyday to make sure the most essential of essential services continue to operate. Things DO NOT seem right, however.

Four Words for Montana Bears: Glitter Bomb Trash Can
My street is losing the trash battle with the bears. But after (several beers) and several weeks of careful "trash-can-cat-and-mouse", we've come up with a potentially effective deterrent idea: Glitter bomb the trash cans and scare the hell out of the bears.
There’s ONE Fee-Free Day Remaining for Yellowstone in 2021 and Tourons Should be Gone by T…
Free entrance days to our National Parks are awesome. They're even better when the place is not a zoo, with bumper-to-bumper traffic. November is that time so plan now for the last fee-free day of 2021.
Most Expensive Small Metros IN AMERICA: Bozeman, Montana is #6
We're in trouble. This isn't a "shake your head" broken record thing anymore. Montana towns are in deep, serious, fast-moving financial transformation. I've sugar-coated my personal concerns about Bozeman's change up until now. I can't do that anymore.
“Parking” and the “Giant Macaroni Thing”: Montana State Student Review Complaints
MSU students generally dig the place. But when asked "What is the WORST thing about Montanan State", they don't hesitate to be honest. Frankly, most of them aren't wrong but they're also not ginormous issues.
Bozeman Area Live Music This Weekend: Hello October!
Nearly perfect weather this weekend is extending the window to really enjoy live music in the Gallatin Valley and beyond. Don't let this perfect, first weekend of October go to waste.
