Well, you learn something new every day.

This is seriously the weirdest thing I have ever read, and I read news that comes out of Florida all the time.

According to Unofficial Networks, there is a 50 square mile of section of Yellowstone National Park that is called the 'zone of death' where theoretically someone could get away with murder. Yeah, murder. The reasoning for this is due to the Sixth Amendment, where a a defendant is guaranteed the right to a trial by a jury by people of the district and state where the crime was committed. The interesting part of about this is that due to Yellowstone National Park, the legal status falls under Wyoming but they would have to have a jury of peers from both Idaho and Wyoming and the problem with that situation is no one lives in any part Idaho section of Yellowstone. So without being able to create a jury, you can't proceed.

In no way am I telling people to go into this area and murder someone. I don't support that at all. I am just saying this is something you don't hear every day, especially about a national park. The only other things I can think of that have death in the name is Death Valley and that sounds horrible. What do you guys think about Yellowstone's 'Zone of Death'? Let me know.
