BOMBSNOW Brings Iconic Board Sports Imagery Event to Bozeman

Bomb Snow Magazine is pleased to announce their upcoming magazine release party, fundraiser and art show on Friday November 19th. The VAST Gallery will host the event located three doors down from the Bozeman Brewery at 410 N. Broadway. The upcoming release will feature world-renowned art, live music, beverages and a special guest appearance by one of snowboardings original bad-asses.
ASYMBOL is a new online gallery conceptualized by pro snowboarder Travis Rice and artist Mike Parillo. The Asymbol gallery features a curated collection of iconic photographs and art pieces from the snow, surf and skate worlds that have never been available to the public for purchase before. Proceeds from the event will benefit our friend Matt Menge who was recently attacked by a Grizzly Bear in Southwest Montana. The event will also support Protect Our Winters Organization (P.O.W.) A non-profit dedicated to reversing the global warming crisis by uniting the winter sports community.
“Using paintbrushes and cameras, these artists have given shape and substance to our lifestyles," says Rice. "They have been able to effectively capture the feeling of awe that exists in a single moment in time. Asymbol is our way of building a bridge between the highly respected image makers in our cultures and the people who admire their work."

Asymbol’s initial limited-edition-series collection includes works by the following internationally-respected artists and photographers: Mike Parillo, Jamie Lynn, Ari Marcopoulos, Scott Lenhardt, Tim Zimmerman, Danny Zapalac, Adam Haynes, Jeff Curtes, Nick Russian, Mike Blabac, Matt French, and Trent Mitchell. Also featured is the I Am Snowboarding collection of mixed-media art and photography collaboration pieces inspired by the short, beautiful life of snowboarder Jeff Anderson.
Based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, yet accessible worldwide, Asymbol's high-tech online gallery offers visitors the ability to see an unprecedented level of detail in the pieces on display, from zoomed-in detail-views of each image, to accurate scaling and perspective of each print size offered on a virtual gallery wall. There are also artist and photographer biographies, along with the stories behind the creation of each image, as told by the image makers themselves.
Pop-up gallery exhibits of physical, framed prints will travel the world to compliment the virtual collection that lives online.
