If you love looking up at night to all the stars and planets, you are in luck because on May 8 you can check out the biggest planet in our solar system with ease.

Between May 8-10, Jupiter will be on display in night sky as it will be as close as it gets to Earth all year. Scientists estimate that it will be just over 400 million miles from us.

During this time, all you have to do is look for the biggest disc in the sky. Look for Jupiter's high-wattage display in the east after nightfall and in the west an hour or two before sunrise.

Using just binoculars you will be able to see Jupiter's moons, and if you have a telescope, you will be able to see the planet up close and with more detail.
