The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for elevations above 6000 feet near the Idaho
border for snow... which is in effect until 5 am MST Friday.

Timing and main impact: snow will develop over portions of
southwest Montana near the Idaho border this morning and
gradually intensify through this afternoon and evening and
continue through Friday morning before diminishing.

Snow accumulations: 4 to 6 inches of snowfall is primarily
expected at elevations above 6000 feet along the Idaho border
including the southern Gallatin and Madison ranges as well as
the Centennial range and West Yellowstone area.

Winds and visibility: gusty south to southwest winds today will
shift to the west tonight and may create period of reduced
visibility in blowing and drifting snow.

Elevations: for elevations above 6000 feet.

Locations affected include: Targhee Pass... West Yellowstone...
Raynolds Pass... Monida Pass.
