Seventeen years after its initial box-office run, ‘The Lion King’ is again reigning supreme. The new 3D incarnation of the film, currently in a limited-engagement run, took in another $22 million to land atop the charts for the second weekend in a row.

The rest of the top five is populated by the week’s new releases — Brad Pitt’s baseball saga, ‘Moneyball,’ earned $20.6 million to take second place, barely edging out the Morgan Freeman feel-good animal flick, ‘Dolphin Tale,’ which came in third with $20.2 million. The thrillers ‘Abduction’ and ‘Killer Elite’ came in fourth and fifth, with $11.2 million and $9.5 million in receipts, respectively.
