Finally! Science is on our side saying we just need to sleep in a little longer. With less sleep, we have less brains. Simply put: Our brains are shrinking. The earlier we start work or school, the less sleep we get on a daily basis. Here's what you can tell your boss:

A researcher found that, for every hour earlier earlier our work started, we actually lost 15-20 minutes of sleep the night before.

If you were normally expected at work by 8am and slept 7 hours (on the regular), once your work started at 7am, you'd sleep for 6 hours and 40 minutes. You get the idea.

We are losing sleep and, as a result, our brains are shrinking. Want proof? HERE.
