A new poster from the Katy Perry biopic ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ has been revealed. The simple images shares a lot about the films rags-to-riches, dream-to-reality story.

A teenage (dream) Perry is in her girlish bedroom, singing into a hairbrush in front of the mirror like most youngins with rock star aspirations often do behind closed doors. She’s wearing a typical teen uniform of a cute mini-skirt and and thigh-high socks, with a record player at her feet. As for the image reflected in the mirror? It’s the blue-haired, strawberry dress-wearing diva, performing before her adoring crowd.

It’s Katy, then and now.

‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ is a 3D spectacle, reportedly sans all footage of estranged (and soon to be ex) hubby Russell Brand. It hits theaters on July 5 when most of you will be BBQing and swilling beer or lemonade (if you are under 21) in celebration of the country’s independence.

Still, you can inject a little candy-coated color and sugary sweetness into your life by seeing the movie. It’s an intimate look at Katy Hudson becoming Katy Perry, the pop starlet you love to love.

The closer and closer we get to ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ premiere, the more we want to see Andrew Garfield take his Spidey suit off. You know he’s completely naked underneath there, right?

More and more clips and photos keep churning out from Columbia Pictures, who can’t help but tease us to death with that one iconic shirtless image of Garfield going in for a make-out session with Emma Stone. But our favorite sneak peek we’ve gotten from the movie so far is the latest (count ‘em) four-minute trailer. Check it out.

While there aren’t any new shirtless moments for him yet, we’re hopeful that it’ll be worth the wait. But for now, we just have to imagine what’s waiting for us underneath all that spandex.

While the idea of randomly running into John Mayer in Bozeman was a pretty cool notion, we didn’t plan on purposefully tracking him down. I’m assuming he came to Bozeman because we have a great city and we generally keep to ourselves. But if I did run into him I would definitely go for a high five or hand shake.

Once we got downtown we met up with our friend Keesha who was celebrating her 21st. With a big smile on her face she exclaimed, “We saw John Mayer!” She explained that when she saw him she excitedly told him it was her 21st and asked for a photo with him. He offered to take the photo of the two, and with an outstretched arm, John framed the two of them in the photo. I didn’t ask to see the photo until later that evening while picking up a late night pita and what I she showed me is the image below. Have you seen a smile that genuine before? It’s crazy what celebrities can do to us. Pretty great 21st celebration, right! And welcome to Bozeman, John.

OneRepublic drummer Edward Ray Fisher had a bad day, it seems. The skinsman was arrested in Denver, Colo. this morning (May 15), with cops claiming he flipped out and went into a destructive rage, according to TMZ. A destructive rage? Yikes.

TMZ also obtained the kit minder’s mugshot, which you can view by clicking below. Check out his forehead, which boasts a circular, bloodied injury that made us say “Ouch” upon looking at it. That thing looks painful. It’s not been determined how he sustained the gash, but it’s likely due to his “destructive rage.”

Fisher was booked for destruction of private property, disturbing the peace and assault. Further details on what he destroyed and why, not to mention how, are TBD. We’ll fill you in as we find out what the heck happened. All we know is, “it’s too late to apologize.” Sorry, we had to…

Fisher, 38, resides in Denver. He is due in Denver County Court tomorrow (May 16) to answer the charges.

Remind us not to piss this guy off…

Howard Stern takes his gig as a judge on ‘America’s Got Talent‘ seriously — and during last night’s debut (May 14), the radio host earned rave reviews. We’re not shocked. Stern is the best thing that could have happened to the show, as his frank and candid commentary is just what a show like ‘AGT’ needs!

According to MTV, Stern’s reviews garnered near-universal praise, collecting comments from top critics across the country, who obviously connected with the fact that he wants to be on that show and likes his job.

The Los Angeles Times claimed that “like fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, he [Stern] meant to play the game the way the game is meant to be played, because, to a deep degree, he believes in it.” True dat!

The Washington Post said that Stern dished out “a tiny bit of brutal honesty” — we think “tiny bit” is an understatement, just sayin’ — while basking “in the show’s trademark combination of awkwardness, ingenuity and love.” Anyone who listens to the Stern show on a daily basis knows that the “shock jock” is the king of the nerds, albeit one who isn’t afraid to talk to porn stars and their backdoor bedroom habits. For the most part, he kept the R-rated material off the show and focused on the contestants in fair fashion.

The New York Daily News said it best by proclaiming, “Inviting Stern on ‘AGT’ is not like inviting the Sex Pistols to crash ‘La Traviata’ at the Met. ‘America’s Got Talent’ didn’t hire Stern to inject outrageous and wacky. It didn’t need to. It has ‘em already.” Stern, instead, was “caught up in the show’s figurative group hugs and four-handkerchief moments.” His commentary proved that he is a softy at heart, but can be critical when necessary. Sort of like…a parent!

PEOPLE even gave him props, saying,”Stern showed a lot of heart and proved he’s got talent — for judging!” His fans already knew that!

For the father-daugher combo of Maurice and Shanice Hayes, he said,“You move me. You guys are spectacular together.I think every father in America watching is saying, ‘This is the kind of relationship I want with my daughter.’”

Every once in a while, someone comes along on one of those reality talent shows to showcase their truly impressive skills. But as far as we’re concerned, the shirtless and flexible Billy George is the best we’ve ever seen and proves that Britain really does have some talent.

It’s not that his acrobatic skills with that giant hoop aren’t enthralling, but we’re frankly more captivated by those abs of his. This guy may not have taken home the grand prize this time around, but he definitely has a future as a male model. Sorry, Susan Boyle, but we’d like to focus now on the hot guy with the big… hula hoop.

What happened was the Tennessee middle school assistant football coach, age 26, was fired for a song he wrote and played! Some folks say It’s the best effort yet at encapsulating the outrage at the oversteps of this government in an entertaining song. Apparently, the guy was fired over the song because some parents complained.

Britney Spears is headed to the Big Apple to promote and finalize her new gig as an ‘X Factor‘ judge.

TMZ reports that Spears and Co. are “very close” to signing, but a few tiny kinks have to be worked out first. Spears is said to be super into the deal, but that she can’t sign the paperwork herself since she’s still under a conservatorship. Co-conservators Jamie Spears and fiancee Jason Trawick will put pen to paper and seal in her contract for her. The deal is expected to be finalized this weekend and will require permission from Spears’ conservatorship judge, but sources say the deal has already been preapproved.

Spears and ‘X Factor’ producers agreed that her presence at the Fox Upfronts is “essential” to promote the show. Spears will likely make her debut for the show’s promos on Monday, where the fall lineup for the network will be unveiled.

Sources close to Brit-Brit said that she’s more than excited for the job, which she may hold alongside Demi Lovato. “She’s ready for this. She can’t wait to sit down next to Simon at the judges’ table and give this everything she’s got. She is excited about showing the world that she can do this, and do this well. This is the perfect next stage in her career. Both Britney and Simon are very excited to work together.”

Gotham City is usually dark and cloudy with a chance of crime, but you wouldn’t guess Batman has the time to do the weather report amidst all that. But viewers of Fox5 in Maryland and DC got quite the surprise when The Dark Knight himself popped on screen to deliver an important message: the daily temperatures!

So Bruce Wayne resides in Washington? Not really. Remember the Batman caught cruising in a black Lamborghini not too long ago? This Batman is now a local celebrity. He’s local businessman Lenny B. Robinson, who enjoys dressing up as Batman and spending his own money to gift toys to sick kids at various hospitals in Baltimore county.

Quite the humanitarian, Robinson, er, “Batman” was invited to the local station to do the weather forecast in the now infamous deep growl. Watch as Batman-turns-weatherman in the video below.

An 18-year old with glasses named Noah from South Carolina is the latest to have a viral video set to LMFAO‘s ‘Sexy and I Know It,’ but he may also be the best one yet. The Dave Matthews Band fan has a number of pop covers on his YouTube account, but this one is by far the most creative and least expected. It’s completely different from anything Redfoo and Sky Blu have come up with yet.

“This time it’s something a little different from what I usually do,” Noah admitted. “I’ve secretly wanted to cover this song for a really long time, but never knew how I was going to arrange it. I’ve finally figured out how I’m going to arrange it, and it’s a lot different from the original version of it,” he chuckled. “So here’s ‘I’m Sexy and I Know It’ by LMFAO … this is happening. I’m doing it.”

Noah, who describes his sound as “Americana acoustic,” says on his Facebook page, “I’m not into a lot of effects and tricks. Just good melodies and lyrics with something to say.” While LMFAO’s tracks aren’t much deeper than the puddles after a passing shower, they’re still a good time, and combined with Noah’s powerful pipes, they manage to pack a punch.

He really wasn’t joking about how different the song is from the original track. Noah transforms the goofy hip-pop anthem into a bluesy acoustic number that’s part barn burner, part bedroom jam. This guy can sing his butt off! Though comparing his version to the original is like comparing apples and oranges, we have to say it may be just as good — in a completely different way.

‘Glee‘ graduation is fast approaching, and fans are wondering who will be returning to the hit show next season. Gleeks are already on edge about the potential loss of their beloved characters, and now a tweet from Amber Riley has them wondering if her days at William McKinley are over.

The 26-year-old actress wrote: “That’s a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I’ve known day in and day out for three years. I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday!”

She continued, “I have so many brothers and sisters now : ) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL’S OUT Glee Kids! Let’s play!”

While the tweet implied the end of a era, Amber soon sent out another message that insinuated that there’s more in store for her character. “Stay tuned to see what’s next for Mercedes ; ),” she wrote.

Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will reportedly remain on series, but Dianna Agron is rumored to be bidding farewell to musical TV show. The season 3 finale is simply called ‘Goodbye,’ and will air on May 22, following a two-hour ‘Glee’-vent on May 15.

UPDATE: Amber Riley takes to twitter to address the rumors. She says: “My tweet apparently has been misconstrued. I was not confirming I was leaving the show. Just stating that I would miss being in the classroom everyday with the cast and that would be changing. Thanks for the support guys : )”

Rihanna is having a hard time lately. First she gets sick enough to be hooked up to an IV, then her ex Chris Brown releases what many have speculated to be a diss track about her. As if that weren’t enough, now hip-hop fans suspect that her former maybe-flame Drake may have followed Breezy’s lead and talked smack about the ‘Where Have You Been’ singer in a new song with 2 Chainz.

The song, ‘No Lie,’ is garnering more attention for this new controversy than for its artistry or the fact that two of hip-hop’s biggest names spit rhymes on it. Indeed, it seems strange that Drake would go after Rihanna, with whom he’s collaborated and remained friendly with since whatever romantic link they had fizzled out. It’s sort of like kicking her when she’s down — that is, if it’s true. The lyrics do appear to point in her direction because of the ‘What’s My Name’ references he drops:

“She came through, she brought food / She got f—ed, she knew wassup / She think I’m the realest out / And I say ‘Damn, that makes two of us’ / Oh that look like what’s her name / Chances are it is what’s her name / Chances are, if she was acting up / Then I f—ed her once and never f—ed again / She could have a Grammy, I still treat that a– like a nominee / Just need to know what that p—- like so one time, it’s fine with me.”

RiRi is the only Grammy-nominated or winning artist that Drizzy has been rumored to have been involved with, so that points another dagger in her direction. What happened to the camaraderie they shared on ‘Take Care?’

We’re not sure whether Drizzy’s verse is actually directed at the ‘Battleship’ starlet. Perhaps time — and Twitter — will tell.

Kelly Clarkson was so moved by the cancer patients (and nurses) at Seattle Children’s Hospital filming a video of themselves singing the empowering lyrics to her smash hit ‘Stronger’ that she recorded a video response. How sweet of her, right?

In the video, a visibly touched Clarkson gushes, “That was so amazing. It made my day. Everyone has been watching and talking about it. It is so beautiful and wonderful. I can’t wait to meet you. It was the coolest thing to watch.”

The patients and hospital admin are beyond stoked that Clarkson was aware of their video and that she taped her own message for them. There is footage of one patient talking about how she and friends would blast the song and sing along in the car.

We were moved by the spirit and resilience of the patients who made this video and we give major props to Kelly Clarkson for taking time out of her day to acknowledge how her music helped these kids. It’s a heartwarming clip in every sense.

Let’s hope Clarkson stops by the hospital to sing the song and give the kids their own private concert.
