There’s a ‘Blood Moon’ Lunar Eclipse Tomorrow Morning

For only five minutes tomorrow morning, the moon will glow some shade of intense orange or red. That's why it's called the "blood moon". Living here, we get to see a total eclipse.

Sorry, I got a little too competitive.

In order for a total lunar eclipse to happen, the moon must be full, which means it is directly opposite the sun, with the Earth in between. At least, that's what NASA says. The eclipse is the moment the moon moves into the shadow cast by the sun shining on Earth.

That's a lot of perfect alignment required. It's amazing to me that any of this can even happen.

Since we're located where we are, we'll get the best view and will be able to see the total eclipse.
