There are so many to chose from. The top result might surprise you. Big Sky Resort

Highly rated in both terrain and family friendly, it's not surprising that it's number one. I just don't like how pricey the tickets are. For more details, check out bigskyresort.com.

  • 2

    Bridger Bowl

This is great because not only does Bozeman have the number one ski resort but also the number two. Bridger scored high in being very family friendly and being very cost effective. More details, check out bridgerbowl.com.

  • 3

    Red Lodge Mountain

Scored very high in being family friendly but very low on their terrain park. Plus, they don't have very many chairs open at the moment. Check out redlodgemountain.com for more facts.

  • 4

    Great Divide

This is the one that surprised me the most. One of the smallest mountains in Montana rated very high on ticket price and family friendliness. It's a trek to get to in Marysville but it's a mountain definitely worth checking out. See their website for more details.

    Whitefish Mountain Resort

Also known as Big Mountain by the locals or anyone who has ever skied/snowboarded the mountain. They have tons of runs for all different types of skiers and also has a ton of different areas to explore. For more details, check out skiwhitefish.com.
