‘The Preacher’ is Violent, Crazy and Simply Amazing

This is probably going to be my new favorite addiction to watch every week.

AMC usually hits home-runs when it comes to original programming. From Mad Men to Breaking Bad to The Walking Dead. Now they have taken one of the most beloved cult comics Preacher and turned it into a show. They didn't disappoint. It's produced by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, the guys behind This is the End, The Interview, and Superbad. This show has everything. Violence, great comedy and fantastic characters, plus there is a Tom Cruise joke that will crack you up.

The show stars Dominic Cooper (Marvel's Agent Carter, upcoming Warcraft) as Jesse Custer, a preacher in his small town of Annville, who is very mysterious. Then you also have Cassidy, an Irish vampire played by Joseph Gilgun and Tulip, Custer's ex-girlfriend played by Ruth Negga (she is phenomenal). This show might be AMC's next big hit, and I hope so because it's fantastic. The best part: AMC Channel is letting you watch the first episode for free on its website.
