Our hearts are heavy this morning upon hearing of the death of rock legend and pioneer Tom Petty.

The last time Tom Petty played a show in Montana was July 5, 2003. The show was at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman.

As we look back on the incredible career and life of Tom Petty, it's hard to not be overcome with sadness. Tom Petty has impacted us all in some way, shape, or form.

Personally, I was fortunate enough to see him in concert three times. All three of those concerts are in the top 10 best shows I've ever seen. He was the definition of an artist. His style of Rock & Roll was unmistakable. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Tom Petty.

Note: The video below is not from the Bozeman concert. It's just one of my personal favorites.
