There are certain things you do in life that make you not only excited but also scared. I had my first experience with that two days ago when I decided to purchase my first car.

I have been actively looking for a new car for the past month and a half. Just to let you know, I was in a car crash when I was coming back from Christmas and my car was destroyed. So I was looking for something that was not only reliable but something that fit my everyday life. My criteria was simple: Made in the past 10 years, less than 100,000 miles and decent price and possibly four-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Well, I thew out the four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive because those vehicles are out of my price range. That didn't make me that upset. I was constantly looking at car dealership websites, and I found a few cars I liked especially on one lot. So I went with a good friend, who knows way more about cars than me (I highly recommend this because you need someone who won't b.s. with you about the quality of the vehicle).

After going back and forth on deciding on what car, I noticed there was a 2012 Toyota Camry that was clean, low mileage, and just caught my eye for some reason. I test drove the vehicle for 15 minutes and even now I know after two minutes this was the car I wanted. Then came the scary part.

When I was sitting there deciding whether to pull the trigger or not on buying the car, I had to call my dad and ask if I should. My dad told me calmly, "If this is the car you want, go for it."  I didn't look back after that. I am happy to announce I am owner of a beautiful 2012 Toyota Camry and I couldn't be happier. I just want to thank the guys at Ressler Toyota and Spencer Strutt for helping with this purchase. If you are looking for a car that is reliable and decently priced I highly recommend them.
