San Francisco, Boston Among Best Cities for Trick-or-Treating

Everyone thinks their neighborhood is the best for trick-or-treating. But the folks at real estate site Zillow have actually compiled a list of the best cities for scoring some ‘tricks or treats’ this Halloween.

In creating its third annual Trick-or-Treat Index, Zillow considered factors such as median home values, crime rates, population density and overall “walkability” when choosing the 20 best urban areas in which to gather candy on October 31.

Scott Weaver has spent the last 35 years building a highly-detailed tower replica of San Francisco using only toothpicks. And it that wasn’t impressive (or insane) enough, his tower allows ping pong balls to take a half-dozen differently routed tours throughout San Francisco’s neighborhoods and famous landmarks.

Paypal's President Predicts the Demise of the Wallet

Now that Paypal has reached 100 million active accounts, a company executive predicts physical wallets will soon be mothballed.

“We believe that by 2015 digital currency will be accepted everywhere in the US -– from your local corner store to Walmart. We will no longer need to carry a wallet,” Paypal President Scott Thompson said in a blog post.
