Looks like the rumors of Nicki Minaj joining ‘American Idol‘ may be true. The Hollywood Reporter says that Minaj and country crooner Keith Urban are close to finalizing their contracts for the show!

I usually try to find something out of the mainstream for my Bangers.  This week though I am letting the monster of mainstream music, Nicki Minaj.  "Va Va Voom" comes off her latest "Roman Reloaded" album.  Not really a club banger.  More of a feel good hairbrush track for the ladies to sing to and  get amped for a night out on the town...

This video is pretty silly. Yes, silly. The way Nicki almost parodies rap with her deep voiced lyrics that seem to dip into her chest as she flows fits the video perfectly. There are some great beach bods too. Enjoy!
