Looking Forward To Catapalooza 2011

Every year the new and returning students are welcomed back to the MSU campus with a huge party on the main mall of campus called Catapalloza. Live music plays all day featuring Bozemans best talent. Tons of MSU clubs, activities and Bozeman businesses throw up a tent and give out tons of goodies to welcome and inform students of their business or activity. Wednesday through Friday of next week marks the 5th year KISS has set up shop, played some music, given out Pepsi and broadcast live from the wildly energetic campus.

The Montana State Men’s Basketball team (11-7, 5-1) dumped Eastern Washington (4-13, 1-4) 71-59 this afternoon here in Bozeman, behind Bobby Howard, Eric Rush, and Rod Singleton scoring 14 points each. Jordan Allou came off the bench to add 13. Next, the Cats travel to Missoula for a game against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

The Bobcat Men’s Basketball team (9-7, 3-1) ended it’s three-win run into the Big Sky Conference season with a 72-58 loss tonight gainst Northern Colorado (8-7, 4-0). The Bears outscored the Bobcats 41-23 in the second half to open their conference record with four straight wins. The Cats return home to host Portland State Thursday night in Bozeman. GO CATS!
