Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to hit DVD and Blu-ray on April 5, but if you can’t wait that long, we’ve got good news. Like many big Hollywood releases, Star Wars is coming to iTunes early. You’ll be able to download The Force Awakens on March 15 with special features, including seven new deleted scenes.

The news comes from Blu-ray.com who report Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available digitally three weeks before it’s available to purchase on DVD or Blu-ray. Whether the March 15 release date is valid for other digital platforms (like VUDU, Amazon or Google) is unclear, but that is traditional for most Disney releases.

While there is no confirmation on the additional features for either the digital, DVD or Blu-ray release, we do know that there will be approximately seven deleted scenes totaling about 3 minutes of footage that will be included. There have been rumors of a cast and crew audio commentary, but nothing official from Lucasfilm or Disney. (Those expecting a Star Wars: Rogue One trailer will likely be disappointed.)

For those of you who aren’t ready to purchase a copy of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and are wondering when it will hit Netflix, you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer. Because of Disney’s deal previous deal with Starz (which expired on January 1 of this year), Star Wars: The Force Awakens will first have its debut on the cable network, likely some time this September. Netflix was able to get the streaming rights for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but only in Canada. So gratulations our friends to the north!

You can pre-order your digital copy of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on iTunes now.
