Sophie Turner may have found the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with, but she still considers her career her greatest accomplishment.

In an interview with Marie Claire, the Game of Thrones star detailed her engagement to Joe Jonas, who proposed in October after about a year of dating.

"I’m still like: Holy s—! I’m engaged,” the 22-year-old told the outlet, noting that while she's over the moon about walking down the aisle, acting is still what she finds most value in. “There’s this weird misconception that being married is the greatest thing that’ll ever happen to you. But I’ve always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there’s a sense that this is the greatest thing I’ll do in my life.”

She continued: “It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.”

And when it comes to wedding plans, Turner is also putting work first: She told Radio Times in January that they're waiting until filming for the final season of Game of Thrones has wrapped before diving into their big day.
