I love learning about next generation technology, especially if it makes life easier and improves our lives. We started at cash then we added credit/debit cards and now we have Apple/Google/Samsung Pay. What could possibly come next?

Well, that answer might scare you. A BuzzFeed reporter did a report where apparently you can get a chip inserted into your hand and actually pay for items such as food and coffee. That whole premise is nuts and he found out about this technique when he went to Sweden.

That begs the question: is this the future we are heading toward? I know people are worried about microchips and bar codes on people, but this seems like the next logical step for technology-based paying. Think about it, future generations are probably going to be losing interest in buying wallets. I mean, no one really needs a watch anymore due to cell phones. I am not saying this is going to be happening in the next 10 years where everyone is going to get this done, but you have to wonder if this is what the future is going to be like.
