Smoke Free Campus??

I am not a smoker and I definitely am glad that we have had laws passed where there is no more allowing of smoking in bars and restaurants. It is so nice being able to go home not smelling like an ash-tray but with that said I am also not one of those crazies that gets really upset about smoking and view it as a big deal. I say to each its own. I just was hit up about the issue on campus where they are trying to make it a smoke free campus. I did not realize that this has been going on for awhile and they are really fighting to make it smoke free. I am not sure about that. I feel like if students, professors, staff and so forth want to smoke they should be allowed to. They have to go outside anyway so I feel like it is not really harming anyone indirectly so they should be able to do something that is part of their lifestyle. I do not think it is quite fair to take this away from people who smoke. I was excited to talk about this because I feel like there are a lot of opinions out there about this issue. Let me know what is your opinion about making campus a smoke free campus????
