This Gallatin Valley law enforcement agencies are teaming up to help children this Christmas.

During the Christmas season, kids from local elementary schools are selected and then matched with a law enforcement officer.  The officer will take them shopping at Target for gifts for them and their family.

So if you find yourself shopping this weekend, don't be alarmed if you see a law enforcement officer and kids wondering the store.

After all the shopping they ride in a patrol car to the station and enjoy pizza while wrapping presents.

This year is the 6th year and it all happens with the support of the Bozeman Police Protective Association, Bozeman Police Foundation, community donations and Target. It's a great positive way for kids to interact with our local law enforcement here in the Gallatin Valley.
