I have always been a fan of Marshawn Lynch. He is just a quiet dude who doesn't say much and knows what his job is. Underneath all that, though, is a generous and great human being.

Last Sunday, after the Seahawks beat up the poor Dallas Cowboys, Lynch went into a local McDonald's and started talking to a 17-year-old who was mopping the floor.  Terrance Downs was the teenager and commented on how he liked Lynch's shoes and he also wanted to buy a pair. Lynch asked him about school and what he wanted to do, and Downs said he likes fashion and would like to open his own boutique shop one day.

That's when Lynch became my favorite dude in football. Lynch took out $500 and gave it to Downs, telling him, "If you are serious about getting those shoes, here's some money to help you get 'em. My job is to continue to see you grow."

What an awesome dude. Downs went out and bought the shoes and feels even more motivated to become successful so he can do that same thing for someone else one day.

Marshawn Lynch, my friend, you are awesome.  For the original story check out TMZ.
