Anger that Hollywood would rather put millions of dollars behind a movie like Monster Trucks than support an indie filmmaker. Acceptance that we now live in a world where a movie like Monster Trucks seems like a bankable idea. If you’re like me, maybe you even came out on the other side and expressed some cautious optimism. After all, the graphics don’t look that bad; how often does Hollywood even make live-action kids movies anymore?
