The Directioners went crazy, crazy, crazy at the record stores and digital retailers this week, as they gobbled up -- make that "took home" -- 540,000 copies of One Direction's sophomore set 'Take Me Home.' The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 by landslide margin over its closest competitors and landed the third biggest sales week of 2012.

Only Taylor Swift, reportedly dating 1D's handsome Harry Styles, and Mumford & Sons had bigger first weeks, with 1.2 million and 600,000 respectively.

'Take Me Home' topping the leaderboard marks the second time in a year (!!!) that 1D has been No. 1. Their debut 'Up All Night' also landed at No. 1 in March with a sales frame of 176,000 copies. It was the first time a British act notched that feat – no U.K. group saw a debut land at No. 1 in 56-years of tabulations.

So it's back-to-back No. 1s for 1D!

Congrats to One Direction for landing a second No. 1 in the same calendar year, and by a massive margin. The results are in. 1D are no flash in the pan. The boys are here to stay. We hope they go crazy, crazy, crazy this weekend to celebrate their victory.
