A 32-year-old North Carolina woman was involved in a fatal car crash just seconds after she took to her Facebook page to tell everyone how wonderful Pharrell's chart-topping song 'Happy' made her feel.

The driver, Courtney Ann Sanford, was killed in the tragic accident, which occurred last Thursday (April 24) during the morning commute. Sanford posted to Facebook while driving her vehicle and crossed the median, hitting a truck head-on.

"The Happy song makes me happy," wrote Sanford on the social networking site. Merely one second later, the High Point, N.C., police department received a call about the crash.

"The Facebook text happened at 8:33AM," Lt. Chris Weiser told a local Fox channel. "We got the call on the wreck at 8:34AM."

Sanford was reportedly also taking selfies before the crash and although she was wearing a seat belt, she wasn't wearing it correctly, police say.
