Nick Jonas hasn't shied from speaking publicly about his breakup with Olivia Culpo, going so far as to tell everyone that his upcoming album Last Year Was Complicated was largely inspired by their relationship. It’s only fitting then, that his latest single “Chainsaw” — and its music video — follow suit.

After taking a tour of the home he once shared with his ex-girlfriend (played by Victoria's Secret model and rumored Harry Styles fling Sara Sampaio), Jonas gets destructive, as memories -- both good and bad -- flood back.

For those of you hoping Jonas would get literal with the lyrics, well, don't get too excited. He does not "take a chainsaw to the sofa where I held your body close for so long,” but he does at least “break the f—king china." Well, he breaks a single plate against a chair. Close enough.

Trading in chainsaw stunts for arson, Jonas sets the house ablaze, which is illegal but at least it's cleansing!

“Collaborating with [director] Luke Monaghan was really special as this is an incredibly personal song and the performance in the video had to represent that,” Jonas told Vogue, who premiered the clip. “Also, getting to work with my close friend Sara Sampaio was amazing. Not only is she gorgeous, but her acting skills were definitely on display in her performance.”

Have you ever wanted to set your old home on fire, because the memories formed inside it were too painful to relive? Wouldn't it just be easier to sell it instead? Explore these thoughts and more as you check out the video for Nick Jonas' "Chainsaw" above.
