I missed the Golden Globes last night, I was busy watching Discpicable Me (I hadn't seen it and my girlfriend told me it would change my life, it was worth it) Luckily we have the run down of the whole thing right here!

"The Social Network" and "Glee" were big winners at the "68th Golden Globe Awards" last night.

"The Social Network" won four awards in the movie category, including Best Motion Picture, Drama . . . while "Glee" won three in the TV category, including a second consecutive win for Best TV Series, Comedy

Elsewhere in TV, HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" won Best TV Series, Drama . . . ending the three-year reign of AMC's "Mad Men".

A pregnant Natalie Portman won Best Actress in a Drama for "Black Swan", and profusely thanked her baby-daddy, Benjamin Millepied . . . who escorted her to the ceremony. She said, quote, "Benjamin choreographed the film and you also might remember him in the movie as the guy who, when they asked, 'Would you sleep with that girl?' he's like, "Pssh, no.' He's the best actor! It's not true, he totally wants to sleep with me!" We know you're all thinking it, "Is he the Kevin Federline of Ballet?" I can only hope but he at least appears to have his stuff together much better than the Fed ever did.

As for the hosting duties, RICKY GERVAIS was gently insulting to numerous celebrities . . . whether they were present or not.

One of his humorous jabs was at Robert Downey Jr. saying we probably remember him from, "facilities such as the Betty Ford Center and Los Angeles County Jail." When Downey took the podium, he said, quote, "Aside from the fact that it's been hugely mean-spirited with mildly sinister undertones. I'd say the vibe of the show so far has been pretty good, wouldn't you?"

The high point of the night, aside from Robert De Niro receiving the lifetime achievement award, was a healthy-looking Michael Douglas coming out onstage to present the final award. When the crowd jumped to its feet, Michael said, quote, "There's got to be an easier way to get a standing ovation."

Another high point was "Glee's" Chris Colfer . . . who's character on Glee is gay and is continously teased and bullied . . . winning a Supporting Actor award and giving some inspiration to bullied kids in his acceptance speech.
