Almost two months ago I found an article mentioning that local and federal task forces were re-opening Notorious B.I.G.'s murder case.  His family had filed a wrongful death suit in 2007 against LAPD officers involved but charges were dropped and nothing became of Biggies case.  When I first talked about the re-opening of the case I mentioned that an officer on the LAPD, Russel Poole, could not just drop the case. He was frustrated and did not want to just excuse suspects and information found.  He must have had some knowledge that something was being over looked. And so he did.

I have been following and watching for any information to come about the re-opening of the case but it was not until today I actually found some news.  In an article today put out by Source FBI Files reveal that Biggie may have been offed by a Tupac obsessed Shady Cop.  With the Freedom Information Act giving access to the public information from Biggie's  investigation has been revealed, none of which sounds  like he wasn't inv

olved in a corrupt deal.

According to the FBI investigation, the ammunition that was used in Biggie's death was an extremely rare metal-piercing Gecko 9mm bullet. The metal is only in the U.S. through two distributors. Here’s where the shady police tie comes in. A corrupt LAPD officer named David Mack was arrested for masterminding a Bank of America heist of over $700,000 six months after Biggie’s death. When police raided his home they found Gecko ammunition and a shrine to Tupac. Mack also had ties to Suge Knight and Death Row Records.

Sounds a little fishy right?  David Mack is behind bars right now serving time on the Bank of America heist and denying any ties with Biggie's death.
