This just in: On April 2, 2015, nine individuals were arrested by the Montana State University Police Department and Bozeman Police Department for outstanding warrants relating to charges of possessing, manufacturing, and distributing dangerous drugs. All defendants were transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center and held on bonds amounts from $20,000 to $75,000.

In recent months, an investigation by the Missouri River Drug Task Force (MRDTF) identified multiple persons manufacturing and distributing dangerous drugs on and around the Montana State University campus. The dangerous drugs included Ecstasy, Acid, Butane Hash Oil (BHO), and Marijuana.

The Missouri River Drug Task Force is a collaborative local, state, and federal effort to identify, target, and prosecute persons involved in drug trafficking, manufacture, and drug-related violence. Along with local tax dollars, the Montana Board of Crime Control allocates federal grant funds to maintain the MRDTF project.
