Football season is already pretty exciting but it's about to get a whole lot better. According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Montana State Bobcat football just got a commitment to play football from Tucker Rovig from Mountain View High School out of Meridian, Idaho.

This is great. Rovig is a big, strong quarterback who had offers from multiple schools such as Washington, Boise State and Montana among others.

I called some of my friends down in Boise about this guy and they had nothing but positive things to say about this soon-to-be senior in high school. I think this is one of the big advantages that Choate might have with some recruits, especially in Idaho. The thing is there is a ton of great talent in Boise/Meridian area and most of the kids go to Boise State hoping to play. If Choate can show them that Montana State is a place where they can have not only fun but a great education and play a lot of football. I think we are in luck.
