Recently, I asked Montanans to vote in a poll regarding the 2024 Presidential Election after we learned last week that we could likely see a repeat of the 2020 election once President Biden announced that he would be running for re-election.

I, like many of you, have wondered if that is what's best for the country.  I mean, we saw what happened the last time these two ran against each other, do we really want to go through that again?  Are these two the best we can find out of over 330 million people in the country?

So I designed a simple poll with three questions and asked people to vote, and I have to tell you that I was a little surprised by the results, or at least the percentages of the results.

When it was all said and done, over 60 percent (61.38%) of Montanans would like to see someone other than Donald Trump or Joe Biden in the White House.  This backs up with a lot of people believe to be true, that the country is ready for a change.

And even though the majority of Montanas would like to see someone new, when it comes down to either Biden or Trump, it's not even close.  The former President had over 30 percent (35.33%) of Montanans said they were Team Trump, while only a little over 3 percent (3.29%) would like to see Joe Biden reelected as President of the United States.

So what does that mean?  In the end, probably not much.

If there is a rematch of the 2020 election, people will either vote for their "team" or they won't vote at all. So while those on the extreme left and extreme right continue to yell at each other about "fake news" and "censorship", all the while playing the same old games, the majority of us who are in the center, whether a little to the left or the right can either keep scratching our heads and wondering how did it come to this, or we can speak up and say enough is enough.
