Montana Approaches Grinch Status on Christmas Spirit List

Some states go all out when it comes to Christmas spirit like Utah, Washington or South Dakota. Others are Grinch-like and don't deck the halls as festively as others.

Montana apparently doesn't have much Christmas spirit and ranks at number 39.

Some nearby states rank significantly better. Washington has the most love for Christmas and ranks number 1, South Dakota ranks 2, Idaho ranks 17, Wyoming 18 and North Dakota 19.  Alaska doesn't have much spirit at all and ranks number 50.

The states were ranked based on Google searches, Christmas music streaming, social media, Christmas tree farms and charitable giving.
