If you've driven near Sacajawea Park in Livingston lately, chances are you've seen construction underway on McNair Gravity Park. The park began as a dream nearly 10 years ago, but with the help of some incredibly passionate individuals, generous donors, and the City of Livingston, the new 12,000 sq.ft. park is now a reality.

For the past 2 years, an event called Skaterpalooza was used to raise money for the new park. When the City of Livingston realized that organizers were serious, they donated a piece of land near Sacajawea Park. The first monetary donation to the park came from Arthur Blank. Blank is a well-known resident of Paradise Valley and donated $60,000 to help build the new park.

Since October 2015, over $360,000 has been raised. When it came time to start construction on the park, organizers realized they were around $64,000 short. Once again, the City of Livingston helped out by finding additional resources. Since that time, the park has raised money to repay the city.
