For anyone who forgot to bring their iPhone on the bus, public transportation in New York City was made a little more fun recently by Macklemore. The rapper and producer Ryan Lewis took over a bus in the "City That Never Sleeps" for an impromptu performance of their hit 'Can't Hold Us.'

Initially confused (and probably annoyed), the Big Apple passengers eventually get into the spirit of the feel-good song and dance and clap along. The clip is being used as a promo for Mack's upcoming Grammys performance.

Mashable points out that the performance appears to have been shot in November 2013 per bus surveillance footage, but for some reason it was only released today. The site questions the authenticity of the "impromptu" performance and wonders if it was staged by the Grammys with actors and rehearsed reactions.

In addition to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performing at the 2014 Grammy Awards, other performers include Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar.
