While everyone else was running around like a chicken with its head cut off over the Mayan calender ending, 'Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family' -- a new series on MTV -- did what you're supposed to do -- throw a party. Most folks would get scared, repent and ask for forgiveness, not Mac and his crew.

In the suspected last days on earth, they want to go out with a bang while being around the people they sincerely care about. So instead of being held up in a homemade bomb shelter in fear of the zombie apocalypse, Mac and friends threw one of the most epic end-of-the-world parties during last night's episode of the show.

While talking about the end of the world on his roof, Mac and the Most Dope Family think back to when everyone was going nuts about Y2K and making end-of-the-world survival kits. Not everyone was a believer that the world was going to end however.

"You know what, I don't think the world's really gonna end, because when Y2K happened, everyone was really scared. They bought extra noodles, a bunch of water, '[The] Sopranos' Season 3," the 'Donald Trump' rapper said.

Mac's got this one right though, an end-of-the-world survival kit wouldn't be a survival kit if you didn't have 'The Sopranos.'

Only one thing stood in the way of this party: the neighbors. Mac's neighbors are not too pleased with his late night studio sessions at his house as his studio faces their bedroom. Going over to smooth things over and make sure the party would be a success, Jimmy and Peanut go to break bread -- well, homemade cookies -- with the neighbors. Things were starting to look up after a cordial conversation with the neighbors, now was the party.

Dressed in an all-white tux, layered with a fur coat -- Dapper Dan style -- Mac enters his first ever house party (we're not making this up), which was packed wall-to-wall with guests including Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt of Odd Future.

Things were going well until the neighbors called the cops. Not to worry, Big Dave came to the rescue and smoothed everything out with the boys in blue. Right when the world was scheduled to end, Mac broke into a speech about being around the people you care about in an end-of-the-world moment right before jumping into DJ Casper's 'Cha Cha Slide,' and having everyone at the party join in.

If the world were to in fact to end that day, that wasn't a bad way to go out.

Tune in next Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. to MTV to see what new antics Mac and the Most Dope Family get into next.
