Lil Wayne To Go ‘Unplugged’ In June
Lil Wayne is pulling the plug. Going acoustic next month Weezy stokes the fire of his anticipated The Carter 4 which is also slatted for release next month and my hopes are that it will rival Jay Z's Stoytellers performance.
Lil Wayne Unplugged will air on MTV2, MTV and stream at MTV.com on Sunday June 12th at 7pm Mountain.
Wayne will be the first MC to go acoustic in about 10 years. Jay Z did it in 2001. Before that only LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul have done it. Will Wayne still be the "best rapper alive" with out the help of a DJ?
