Leonardo DiCaprio, who's already a known do-gooder, gave Santa yet another reason to put him on the "nice" list this year -- the actor donated more than 60 large in support of gay rights at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday (April 20).

DiCaprio put in $25,000 to a pledge drive and added an additional $22,000 to win a five-day African safari during the live auction. (Pro-tip, Leo: Do not approach the lions. We've heard that often ends badly.)

He also ponied up $14,000 for a photo of Marilyn Monroe during the evening's silent auction event, bringing his grand total for the evening to $61,000.

'The Great Gatsby' star was there alongside Charlize Theron to honor entertainment attorney Steve Warren (pictured with Leo above), but he obviously showed up with an open checkbook in hand -- and all the money went to support a great cause.

The evening's other honorees included Bill Clinton and his fabulous fedora, Adam Lambert,  and movies and TV shows like 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower,' 'The New Normal,' 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' 'Raising Hope,' and an episode of 'Oprah Winfrey's Next Chapter' that featured Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, David Burtka.
