At this point in her career, Lana Del Rey is becoming more renowned for her modeling endorsements than for her music. In addition to repping the fall line of discount clothes retailer H&M, Del Rey is now the face of a decidedly more upscale brand: Jaguar! From mass-produced basic tees and dresses to luxury vehicles, Del Rey’s face reps it all!

Del Rey’s partnership with Jaguar is part of the carmaker’s launch of the Jaguar F-Type. The all-new two-seater sports car will be revealed in Paris in September 2012. Because when we think fancy cars, we think Lana Del Rey.

Not really, but the singer’s refined beauty and somewhat classic, throwback look certainly fits the brand’s high-end aesthetic.

Jaguar Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark explained the company’s reasoning when it came to partnering with LDR.

“Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey will collaborate with Jaguar on the launch of the all-new F-TYPE, a two-seater sports car that is a vivid representation of the vitality of the Jaguar brand,” Hallmark said.

Hallmark continued, “The allure of Jaguar is in large part due to its duality — a unique blend of authenticity and modernity, two values that we believe are shared with Lana in her professional achievements.”

What’s that mean? Well, the car and the pop singer are kindred spirits, visually speaking.

Photos have been released, and Del Rey is posh and chic, capturing the essence of an eternal summer in the South of France or the Hamptons with both her pose, wardrobe and the styling.
