Kyrie Irving Breaks Silence on ‘Nonsense’ Kehlani Infidelity Rumors

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving has confirmed in a series of since-deleted tweets captured by XXL that he and Kehlani were not together when rapper PartyNextDoor posted a photo of himself and Kehlani in bed together on Monday (March 28). Kehlani allegedly attempted suicide, according to an Instagram post caught by The Shade Room that she's since deleted, following a social media firestorm that erupted in which Twitter users accused her of cheating on Irving.

Kehanli and Irving had been linked together for just a few months before the unraveling.

"It's been hard to see what's been going on and not address the truth," Irving tweeted earlier today (March 31), via XXL's screen caps. "I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try to spark all of this nonsense that could have been avoided, but me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out."

"It's unfortunate that it's received so much attention but it's become bigger because of a post that was misunderstood," Irving continued. "Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family. My only focus the game I love to play every night."

Kehlani insisted in a since-deleted Instagram shot taken from a hospital bed that she was "not a bad person" and hadn't been unfaithful in spite of allegations to the contrary.

"Today I wanted to leave this earth," she wrote. "Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow."
