After explaining himself numerous times, Kanye West has apologized for his ill-informed remarks about Beck during the 2015 Grammy Awards. On Thursday (Feb. 26), the mercurial rapper went on Twitter to say he’s sorry for slandering the veteran rocker after he won Album of the Year for Morning Phase.

If you recall, West almost derailed Beck’s acceptance speech when he won the coveted honor, which many felt should have went to Beyonce for her trailblazing self-titled effort. Afterward, during an interview with E!, Yeezy said that Beck should "respect artistry" and give the award to Beyonce.

Since then, ‘Ye has been on a tour, explaining why he made those remarks. Recently, the G.O.O.D. Music leader admitted that he never listened to Beck’s album and that his opinion of the rocker was uninformed. However, he is still adamant that Beyonce should have won the golden gramophone for Album of the Year.

Now West turns to Twitter to give a public apology. “I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck,” he tweeted. “I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist.”

“I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced...I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid,” he added.

The Bruno Mars apology comes as a result of West’s onstage tirade in November 2013 during the Yeezus tour at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. The “All Day” rapper went on a rant that mentioned Mars in regards to him winning the MTV Video Music Awards.

"Bruno Mars won all the motherf---ing awards and s---. And I was thinking about what Rick Rubin told me, because I don’t give a f--- about no TV show,” he said. “But what I care about is if you’re an artist and you work hard as f--- and the streets say that you deserve that s---. Then can’t no motherf---ing networks try to gas everybody up so they can sell some product with the prettiest motherf---er out.”

Now that West has apologized to both Beck and Bruno Mars, can we now move on?

Hopefully, West will take the initiative to collaborate with Beck and Mars in the near future. Then he will really see and hear how stellar they both are.
