Fire up Facebook, break out a deck of cards, and put on some Granny’s Peach Tea; Jesse Eisenberg is coming to television. The Now You See Me star is partnering with Bad Robot for a new single-camera comedy series about “the changing American economy,” with intent to write, star and direct.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eisenberg and Bad Robot are developing The Market, which would follow “a recently widowed man who moves to Pittsburgh to live with his adult son, Stan (Eisenberg). Both men simultaneously lose their jobs due to the changing American economy and are thrust into an unforgiving job market.”

In addition to writing, starring in and directing the as-yet-unattached Warner Bros. TV project, Eisenberg would also executive produce with Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson. The Batman v. Superman star’s last TV appearance was in a 2014 Modern Family episode, though he at least has TV roots in FOX’s 2000 family comedy Get Real.

It’s early yet, but which network or streaming outlet sounds like the best fit for Eisenberg’s TV return?
