‘Inside Out’ Review

I knew what I was getting into when I heard from everybody about this movie. I heard, "The best film from Pixar since Toy Story or Finding Nemo." And "This film makes grown men cry."  So I decided to see for myself. The results are simply amazing.

I love Pixar films. Toy Story(1,2,3), Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, and Up bring up so many different emotions. When I saw Up in theaters, I couldn't believe how Pixar just brings death so quickly and I felt terrible for Carl but Pixar isn't afraid to ask the tough questions or make hard choices in their films.

Inside Out pushes the boundaries even more so.  Pete Docter, who also directed Up and Monsters Inc., made sure this film was made right and brought a story that a lot of us know. The best part of the film is not even one of the emotions(joy, sadness, anger, fear, or disgust). My favorite character is Bing Bong, Riley's old imaginary friend who is trying to not get forgotten. He breaks your heart. If you love great movies/stories or just have a heart, you will absolutely adore this film. Go see it, you will be a better person for it.
