Ideal Montana Thanksgiving Recipe
Turkey is great.
So are mashed potatoes and yams and everything else in an ideal Thanksgiving dinner. But apparently to the New York Times they have searched the United States for an ideal Thanksgiving dinner that fits each state perfectly. Of course Idaho has a dish with potatoes and Washington has some vegetarian dish(cause they are so hip).
But the Montana dish is interesting....it's Marinated Venison Steaks.
Obviously that is delicious but I would definitely make some changes to the recipe. I would take out the wine and the mustard. You don't need to do a lot to bring out the amazing flavors of a venison steak. If I really wanted to get creative with marinating the steak I would probably use a craft beer to bring out the flavors.
